I had the pleasure of connecting with a few friends over Zoom yesterday.
We get together each month to talk about leadership, how the concepts we learned are showing up in our work and personal lives, and we also offer encouragement when it's needed.
I saw a theme throughout yesterday's conversation, so I thought I'd share the collective message with you: Even the smallest step can create a huge difference.
I know it sounds cliche, but that's only because it's one of those lessons we need to remember over and over, across so many contexts and life experiences. Without betraying any confidences, I'll say that we applied the wisdom to building new habits, making progress with our fitness, and integrating new lessons learned.
I mentioned how often I coach others to embrace small steps as progress, and at the same time, I need to be reminded, too. I'm grateful they did. The smallest step of just cleaning my desk on Wednesday has inspired more small steps at home this weekend. And so it continues...
If this reminder resonates with you, or if you know someone who could use the encouragement, please download this week's Powerful Statement, post for yourself, and share with others: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10z1Ap4gU7o5dI7bNHVqi4kPGbjO-AwYF/view?usp=drive_link
